Volunteering

New Wave Swim Club, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation managed for and by our families.  Volunteering is central tenant of the club philosophy and a key to our character.  Our club is scheduled to host three (3) swim meets sanctioned by United States Swimming and New England Swimming, with the first on Sunday, October 11, 2009, the second, the Nor’Easter Classic on Saturday and Sunday, January 23 and 24, 2010, and the Spring Fling on Sunday, March 21, 2010.  All will take place at UMass -Lowell and are substantial fundraisers which add a considerable amount to our club’s finances, thus keeping our tuition low.

Our meets are considerable affairs requiring the assistance of all our families.  The expecation is that all our families will assistance with some or all the meets as they are able.  To help organize the meet in advance, we have provided information for the various tasks and the ability to sign up for those positions.
